Pour a cup of water into a small pot and bring to the boil on stovetop. Place milk chocolate pieces into a glass, heatproof bowl. Place bowl over pot of boiling water. As the chocolate begins to melt, stir with a spatula or spoon until smooth and melted. Set aside to cool slightly. You can also do this in the microwave if you prefer – I do it in 20 sec intervals until it is all melted and combined!

As milk chocolate cools, combine roasted almonds, chopped marshmallows and raspberries in a bowl. Pour cooled milk chocolate over the top and mix, mix, mix!

Prepare a tray with baking paper and smooth out the mixture! Set in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Cut to desired size to serve – I find the rustic look looks best!

Tip - You can use any type of chocolate and all sorts of different fillings for this recipe! Just substitute out the same quantities, get the kids involved and have fun with it, I give all the kids one job each makes it fun!

Ingredients

• 1 candy cane, crushed, for garnish (you can use sugar with red colouring)
• ¼ cup strawberry vodka
• 4 dashes white creme de menthe
• 1 ½ cup cranberry juice
• Ice cubes

Directions

Place crushed candy canes on a small plate or saucer. Wet the outside rim of a chilled martini glass with water you can use syrup if it’s not sticking. Holding the glass by the stem, rotate the rim to coat with candy!

In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, creme de menthe, cranberry juice, and ice; shake until well combined. Strain into prepared glass; serve immediately.
