Twenty minutes on the ferry and you’re there.
No cars. Just bikes, sand between your toes, and memories being made.
I always wish I could freeze time when I’m here.
It feels like all the best parts of my childhood wrapped into one place.
As a little girl, this was my dream.
Every year we came to Rottnest, and every year I imagined bringing my own kids back here.
And now… here we are.
Every year, and somehow it just gets sweeter.
It’s hectic. It’s beautiful. It’s a lot.
And life has tested me more than I expected lately.
But at the end of the day, I’m living the life I once dreamed about.
Messy, full, a little chaotic… but ours.
And honestly? I don’t want for much.
Just nights like this.
Healthy kids.
Healthy us.
