This made to order series showcases the craftsmanship of master potter Ian Clare, who has spent decades developing and refining ceramic glazes. Creating an entirely new palette of unique colours- some brand new, some long cherished favourites, that can be applied across a selection of our signature wall light styles.

Pickled Olives is full of character, depth and movement. A glossy green-toned glaze with soft, organic spotting, runs of lighter greens and warm brown spots. It shifts and changes depending on the light and the shape of the ceramic. No two lights will ever be the same- and that’s exactly what we love about it. This glaze brings a hit of earthy elegance and works beautifully in spaces that embrace contrast, colour and texture.

Choccy Milk is warm, nostalgic and slightly moody, just like its namesake. A deep brown glaze with subtle tonal variation and a delicious gloss finish, it brings a sense of comfort and depth to any room.

Tommy Jam is sweet, spicy and full of personality. This deep rust-red glaze features a glossy finish with a subtle metallic sheen, giving it unexpected depth that shimmers in the light. It brings warmth and texture to a space, pairing beautifully with creamy neutrals, natural timbers or other earthy tones. A bold but balanced choice for those who want to add a little unexpected colour and character to their walls.

Snow Cone is bright, playful and full of texture. This deep sky blue glaze is speckled with fine darker flecks, giving it a soft, frosted effect that shifts depending on the shape and light. It has a high-gloss finish that adds to the juicy, almost electric look of the colour. Snow Cone brings a fresh burst of energy to any space- perfect if you’re after something bold, fun and impossible to ignore.

Midnight Snack is rich, moody and utterly delicious- a deep navy glaze with a glossy finish. It’s smooth, dramatic and slightly mysterious, perfect for adding depth and contrast to a space. While the tone is more uniform than some of the other Potter’s Choice glazes, you’ll still see gentle shifts in shade depending on the form it’s applied to and how it catches the light.

Burnt Toast is dark, toasty and full of understated charm. A deep, warm brown glaze that almost reads black in low light, it reveals soft speckling and subtle shifts in tone as you move around it. On carved or ridged forms like our Day styles, the glaze catches on the edges to create gentle highlights, like the golden crust on a perfectly crisp slice of toast. It’s a rich, grounding choice that brings quiet depth and texture to a space.

As part of the Potter’s Choice Collection, each light is made to order, and the glaze is mixed and applied by hand. This means slight variations will naturally occur from light to light, so please expect some differences. Due to the custom nature of these pieces, all orders are final sale.
